This Law Alumni Masterclass will discuss the scope of the work of the Georgia General Assembly and the Georgia Criminal Justice Reform Council from 2011-2018 under the leadership of Governor Nathan Deal. Justice Michael P. Boggs will present the data that informed the work of the council, the scope of the council’s legislative and executive recommendations, current corrections-related statistical data points, and an overview of the national criminal justice reform landscape.
